Weekend Fun
The boys sure have a lot to talk about because of our weekend. We had such a fun filled, family weekend. On Saturdays, Josh gets up at the crack of dawn (or toddler time), gets the boys dressed and rushes out of the house for their "boy breakfast, no girls allowed." When they got back, I was cracking up because Josh was in such a hurry to leave the house without waking me that Cooper's shorts were on backwards. Cooper didn't seem to mind, he got waffles! We then threw our bikes in the truck and off to a local trail/park we went. As we were riding bikes, Cooper started saying "duck, duck, duck." So cute. I love his little voice. Greyson would also point out all of the different things he could see....duck, flower, lady, dog, trees, snake, grass, slide......What? Did someone mention snake? Luckily, Josh and Greyson were in the lead when a huge anaconda (or maybe black snake) crossed right in front of them. Greyson thought it was really cool. I'm trying hard not to relay my fears to my children BUT, I hate snakes, they should all die. Thank goodness Cooper and I weren't in the lead or they would have seen mommy relay some serious fear towards them. After our nice stroll around the lake (minus the part where Josh and Greyson were trying to run over innocent ducks on their bike, both of them laughing hysterically like something out of America's Funniest Home Video) we had a picnic. We decided that a blanket and 50 acres of openness was just too much for us to handle with 2 little explorers, so we parked Josh's truck under a tree and had a beautiful picnic in the back of his truck, where no one could escape. We had french bread, italian meats, asiago and romano cheese, and a fruit bowl. The weather was perfect and so was the company.

Sounds like a perfect weekend! Wish we were back in Springfield to hand out and do stuff like that with you guys. It kills me that the boys are getting so big and have no idea who Uncle Andre and Aunt Brianne are!
What good memories you are making!
